Auto air conditioning
This is Far North Queensland. Air conditioning is not a luxury item, and a car with no air con in February is close to unusable. We fix the reason it stopped rather than just filling it back up with gas.
We leak test first
Air con that has gone warm has almost always lost gas, and gas does not simply evaporate. Something is leaking. A straight regas on a leaking system will feel like a fix for a few weeks and then you are back, having paid for the same job twice. So we find the leak first, tell you what it will take, and then repair it.

Cars through to headers
The same gear that regasses a HiLux does a tractor cab, and being able to do both means the farm ute and the machinery get sorted in the same visit. Not many operators on the Tablelands cover both ends of that.

How much does a car air conditioning regas cost?
It depends what is wrong with it, so we will not guess over the phone. What we will do is test it, tell you what we find and what it will cost, and let you decide before any work happens. Fair pricing is the thing our customers mention most in their reviews.
Why does my air con keep losing gas?
Because there is a leak somewhere. Refrigerant is in a sealed system, so if it has gone, it has escaped. Common culprits are the hoses, the condenser at the front of the car where stones hit it, and the compressor shaft seal. We leak test to find out which.
Can you regas air conditioning on a tractor or truck?
Yes. We service and repair air conditioning on tractors, headers, trucks and earthmoving machinery, including roof mounted cab units, and we come out to the property to do it.
